For PVH Game Studio (also published as Culture Department) and all of the websites and apps listed in section 2. Last updated 3 August 2026.
The short version
- We do not sell your personal data, and we never have.
- Most of what our games remember — your settings, your language, your progress — is stored on your own device.
- Our products are free and paid for by adverts, which are served by Google. Google, not us, decides what it collects to fill an advert slot.
- Some products let you create an optional account for leaderboards and cross-device progress. If you never sign in, we never hold one.
- One address handles every privacy question or request: [email protected].
1. Who we are
PVH Game Studio is an independent studio that makes puzzle games and small web apps. Some of our web products are published under the name Culture Department; it is the same team, and this policy covers both names. In this document, "we", "us" and "our" mean PVH Game Studio.
PVH Game Studio is a trading name rather than a registered company: the products are made and published by an independent developer based in Vietnam, working as an individual. That individual is the data controller for the purposes of the GDPR, the UK GDPR and comparable laws, and can be reached at the address below.
For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to every game, app and website we publish under the PVH Game Studio or Culture Department name, including any we release after the date above. At the time of writing that is:

- Jigsaw Quiz —
jigsawquiz.com, and the iOS and Android apps; - Sliding Quiz —
slidingquiz.com, and the iOS and Android apps; - Sudoku Classic: Legacy Puzzle —
sudokulegacy.com, and the mobile appcom.pvh.sudoku; - Block Explode! —
blockexplode.com, and the mobile appcom.blockexplode.app; - Water Shuffle: Color Match Puzzle —
watershuffle.com, and the mobile appcom.watershuffle.app; - PurrFlow — The Liquid Cat —
purrflowgames.com, and the mobile appcom.pvh.purrflow; - Gif Vibe —

Our products differ in what they need — a game with a leaderboard keeps more than an offline puzzler does. Where that matters, the sections below say so, and a product with its own policy page states its own specifics there. A new product is covered by this policy from the day it ships; if one ever needs something this document does not describe, we will say so here before it does.
3. What we collect
3.1 What you choose to give us
- When you write to us. Your email address, your name if you sign the message, and whatever you put in it. We use it to answer you and nothing else.
- When you create an account. Some of our web products offer an optional account so scores, progress and profiles follow you between devices. That account holds an identifier, the display name you pick, the sign-in details or third-party sign-in you used, and the game data attached to it. Accounts are optional in every product that has them — the games are fully playable signed out.
- When you upload or create something. Where a product lets you bring your own picture or make something with it, that content is handled for the purpose you used it for. In our mobile games, a photo you set as a background is copied into the app's own private storage on your device and is never uploaded to us.
3.2 What is collected automatically
Like almost every website, our servers keep ordinary access logs. A log entry typically records the address requested, the date and time, the response code, the referring page, the browser's user-agent string and the connecting IP address. We use these to operate the service, diagnose faults and defend against abuse, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.
Our mobile apps report basic device and app information — model, operating system version, app version and language — to the advertising service described in section 5, and, where a product includes crash reporting, to the service that receives the crash.
3.3 What stays on your device
Most of what a game remembers never leaves the device it is on. Using your browser's local storage on the web, and the standard preference store on Android and iOS, our products keep things like:
| Kind of thing | Why it is there |
|---|---|
| Progress and scores | So a half-finished puzzle is still there when you come back |
| Unlocks and rewards | So something a rewarded advert bought stays bought |
| Settings | Sound, music, vibration, difficulty, appearance |
| Language | The interface language you picked |
| One-time notices | So a tip or an onboarding screen is not shown twice |
None of this identifies you. Clearing your browser data, or clearing the app's data and uninstalling it, removes it — permanently, and with no copy of ours to restore it from unless you were signed in to an account.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our websites use cookies and local storage for three purposes:
- Necessary — keeping you signed in where you have an account, and keeping the site secure;
- Preferences — remembering your language and settings;
- Advertising — set by Google, as described in the next section.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. Necessary and preference cookies only affect our own sites; blocking them will sign you out and lose your settings, but the games still work.
5. Advertising
Our products are free and are paid for by advertising, served by Google — Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in our mobile apps. Some products also offer rewarded adverts, where watching one unlocks something for good.
To fill an advert slot, Google receives information from your browser or device. Google — not us — decides what that is and what it does with it; typically it includes:
- your device's advertising identifier (the Android Advertising ID, or Apple's IDFA where you have allowed tracking), or advertising cookies on the web, including Google's DoubleClick DART cookie;
- your IP address, and the approximate region derived from it;
- device, browser and app information such as model, operating system, language and the app or site identifier;
- whether an advert was shown, viewed or clicked.
We do not receive any of this. What reaches us is aggregate earnings reporting, which contains nothing about individual players. Google's handling of the data is governed by its own policy, which is worth reading if this matters to you: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Turning personalised advertising off
- Android — Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID, or Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
- iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track. Our apps work fully whether you allow tracking or not.
- On the web — Google's own controls at My Ad Center, and aboutads.info/choices for other advertising networks.
Turning personalisation off does not remove the adverts, and it does not affect anything you have already unlocked with one.
6. How we use what we collect
- To run the games and apps and keep your progress where you left it;
- To answer messages you send us;
- To find and fix faults, and to keep the services secure and available;
- To understand, in aggregate, which puzzles and features get used, so we know what to build next;
- To show adverts, which is what pays for all of it;
- To meet legal obligations where they apply.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We share only what a service needs to do its job for us:
- Google — for advertising, as described in section 5;
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — the servers, storage and content delivery our sites run on;
- Error and crash reporting — where a product includes it, to tell us that something broke and where;
- Authorities — only where the law actually requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the safety of others.
8. How long we keep it
- Server logs — for a short operational period, then discarded on a rolling basis.
- Account data — for as long as the account exists. Ask us to delete it and it goes.
- Email you send us — for as long as it takes to deal with it, plus whatever we need to keep for our records.
- Everything on your device — until you clear it. That one is entirely in your hands.
9. Children
Our products are suitable for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Advertising, however, is served by Google, so if a child plays our games we recommend turning off advert personalisation using the device controls in section 5.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to withdraw consent — under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or a comparable law.
To exercise any of them, write to [email protected]. We will answer within the time your law allows, and we may need to confirm you are the person the data belongs to before we act. Some of it you can do yourself, immediately:
- Delete what is on your device — clear the site's data in your browser, or clear the app's data and uninstall it.
- Delete an account — ask us and we will remove it and the game data attached to it.
- Advert data — that is held by Google, not us. Use the device and browser controls in section 5.
Because progress and unlocks live on your device unless you are signed in, clearing that data also clears what rewarded adverts unlocked. That is the trade-off of a game with no compulsory account: nothing to sign into, and nothing to restore from.
11. Security
Our sites are served over HTTPS, and data on your device is protected by your browser's origin isolation or your device's app sandbox and whatever device encryption you have enabled. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise — but we keep what we hold to the minimum, which is the most effective protection there is.
12. Where data is processed
We are based in Vietnam, and our providers — hosting, content delivery and advertising — operate internationally. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own, including countries whose data protection laws differ from the ones where you live.
13. Other people's sites
Our products link to places we do not run — the App Store, Google Play, and the pages an advert leads to. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
14. Changes to this policy
If something changes about how our products handle data, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the relevant store listing's release notes. Continuing to use our products after a change means you accept the updated policy.
