Terms of Use

For PVH Game Studio (also published as Culture Department) and all of the websites and apps listed in section 2. Last updated 3 August 2026.

1. Accepting these terms

By visiting our websites, downloading our apps or playing our games, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the services. If you are under the age at which you can agree to a contract where you live, you may only use our services with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Who we are, and what these terms cover

PVH Game Studio is an independent studio that makes puzzle games and small web apps. Some of our web products are published under the name Culture Department; it is the same team. In this document, "we", "us" and "our" mean PVH Game Studio, and "the services" means every game, app and website we publish under either name, including any we release after the date above. At the time of writing that is:

• pvhgamestudio.com — this site;
• Jigsaw Quiz — jigsawquiz.com, and the iOS and Android apps;
• Sliding Quiz — slidingquiz.com, and the iOS and Android apps;
• Sudoku Classic: Legacy Puzzle — sudokulegacy.com, and the mobile app com.pvh.sudoku;
• Block Explode! — blockexplode.com, and the mobile app com.blockexplode.app;
• Water Shuffle: Color Match Puzzle — watershuffle.com, and the mobile app com.watershuffle.app;
• PurrFlow — The Liquid Cat — purrflowgames.com, and the mobile app com.pvh.purrflow;
• Gif Vibe — gifvibe.com, and the iOS and Android apps com.gifvibe.app;
• Sound Instants — soundinstants.com, and the iOS and Android apps com.soundinstants.app;
• Meme Picker — memepicker.com.

PVH Game Studio is a trading name rather than a registered company: the services are made and published by an independent developer based in Vietnam, working as an individual. Your agreement is with that person.

3. What we provide

The services are free to use and are supported by advertising. We provide them for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. We may add features, change them or retire them, and we may stop offering a product entirely — we will try to give reasonable notice when a change matters to you.

4. Where the games are available

Our games are not published or distributed in Vietnam. Offering a game to players in Vietnam requires a licence that is granted to registered companies, and PVH Game Studio is an independent developer working as an individual rather than a company, so no such licence is held. Our store listings exclude Vietnam accordingly, and the games are not offered or marketed to players there.

This is a question of licensing rather than of where the work is done: the developer is based in Vietnam, while the games are published only in the other countries the app stores reach. Everything else in these terms applies to players in those countries.

5. Your account

Some products offer an optional account so that scores and progress follow you between devices. If you create one:

• give accurate details, and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself;
• you are responsible for what happens under your account;
• tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it;
• you may ask us to delete it at any time, and we will.

Accounts are optional. Every game that offers one is fully playable without it.

6. How you may use the services

Use them lawfully, and for what they are for. In particular, please do not:

• copy, distribute, modify, transmit, reuse or republish our content for commercial purposes without our written permission;
• cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or modified clients to manipulate scores, leaderboards or rewarded adverts;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the services, or try to extract our puzzle libraries or media collections;
• interfere with the services or the servers behind them, including probing, overloading or attempting to bypass security;
• reverse engineer or decompile our apps, except where the law expressly gives you that right;
• upload or share anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing someone else's rights;
• use the services to impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection with us;
• block, replace or interfere with the advertising that pays for the services.

7. Our content

The games, apps, code, artwork, sounds, layouts, names and logos of PVH Game Studio and its products are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Playing a game gives you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it — it does not transfer any ownership to you.

Some pictures, GIFs, sounds and meme templates in our products come from third parties or from public sources and remain the property of their respective owners. If you believe something in one of our products infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with enough detail to identify it and we will look into it promptly.

8. What you make

Where a product lets you upload a picture, create something, or write a display name or a comment, that content stays yours. By putting it into a product that publishes or shares it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute it for the purpose of operating that feature — and no further. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you upload.

We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and we may do so without notice where it is serious.

9. Advertising and rewards

The services show adverts, including rewarded adverts that unlock features or extra plays. Adverts are served by Google, and what an advert shows and where it leads is not chosen by us. Anything a rewarded advert unlocks has no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and lives with the product it was earned in. How advertising affects your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Links, stores and third-party services

The services link to places we do not control — the App Store, Google Play, and the pages adverts lead to. We are not responsible for their content, their terms or their practices. Where you get an app from a store, that store's own terms apply to the download as well as these.

11. Availability

We work to keep the services up, but we cannot promise they will be available uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, faults, changes at our providers, and things outside our control all happen. We may suspend or withdraw all or part of a service, and we are not liable to you for doing so.

12. No warranties

The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will meet your requirements, that they will be uninterrupted or secure, or that defects will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PVH Game Studio and the people who work on it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, profits or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of the services — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for them, which for our free products is nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the services, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services at any time — close the tab, or uninstall the app. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you break these terms or if we are required to. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — do.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what our products collect, what stays on your device, and how advertising works. It forms part of these terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where the developer behind PVH Game Studio is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and nothing here takes those away.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the products change. When we do, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the services.

19. The rest

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given it up. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the services.
